Students of Modest Means

The CAPE Legacy Fund is a non-profit foundation dedicated to raising funds to help students of modest means.

Some disadvantaged students receive full scholarships but still do not have all their bills paid. Some “full” scholarships pay tuition, room and board—a substantial award. Yet some students may not be able to take advantage of the scholarship because they lack funds for equally necessary expenses, such as books, lab fees computer equipment and travel expenses. The foundation was designed to help students meet these additional obligations.

The focus of the endowed portion of this fund is directed towards students preparing for military or nursing careers. Additionally, some funds have been earmarked for students who are pursuing other career paths.
